LIFE ELEKTRA Highlights Nitrate Removal and Green Hydrogen Production at 37th AEAS Congress

In May 2023, the LIFE ELEKTRA project was prominently featured at the 37th Congress of the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS) in Castellón, Spain. This esteemed event convened professionals from across the water sector to discuss advancements in water treatment and sustainable practices.

Representatives from LIFE ELEKTRA presented the project’s innovative approach to addressing nitrate contamination in water sources. This process not only purifies the water but also generates green hydrogen, contributing to renewable energy production.

The presentation underscored the project’s commitment to integrating circular economy principles into water treatment processes. By converting harmful nitrates into harmless nitrogen gas and producing green hydrogen, LIFE ELEKTRA exemplifies a sustainable and energy-efficient solution to water contamination challenges.

Participation in the AEAS Congress provided an invaluable platform for LIFE ELEKTRA to share its progress and engage with industry experts, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the pursuit of sustainable water management.
