Last week some staff members of Global Omnium had the opportunity to participate in the Congress Water Smart Economy & Society (#WSES2025) in Rotterdam (Netherlands). This remarkable event focused on the future of water management and circular water economy and gathered leading experts, innovators, and stakeholders, from 25 case studies across Europe and overseas, addressing key topics such as circular water solutions, climate resilience, and innovative business models.
The ELEKTRA LIFE PROJECT participated in the “EU LIFE Close-to-Market & Horizon Projects: Accelerating Circular Water Innovations” Session aimed to promote the market implementation and commercialization strategies of current LIFE projects as the ELEKTRA LIFE EU project. This project aims to deploy a circular solution to tackle the nitrate pollution by scaling-up and deploying in different locations an electrochemical denitrification technology.
The formation provided by the organizers of the #Close2Market team, Liana Suleymanova and Thierry Senechal, has already improved the outcome of the ELEKTRA LIFE EU project and will help in its future steps to develop the business plan to attract investors and partners, making this innovative solution scalable. The consortium is also grateful to the European Commission and LIFE Programme for their support.
