On December 2, 2024, the LIFE ELEKTRA project showcased its innovative approach to sustainable water management at CONAMA 2024, Spain’s premier environmental conference. The event gathered policymakers, researchers, and innovators to address global sustainability challenges.
The presentation emphasized LIFE ELEKTRA’s mission to transform nitrate-contaminated water into clean, drinkable water. The project employs electrochemical reduction technology powered by renewable energy, producing green hydrogen and valorizing salts, thereby achieving a zero-waste, circular process.
Participation in CONAMA 2024 provided an excellent platform to share LIFE ELEKTRA’s vision and foster collaborations aimed at advancing sustainable water treatment solutions across Europe.
