To effectively organize, coordinate, and manage projects, ensuring smooth operations, efficient administration, financial oversight, and IPR handling, while facilitating seamless communication within the consortium and with the EC.

Explore the future of water treatment with Elektra: our project aims at groundbreaking advancements in nitrate reduction, scalability, and sustainability. From validating a unique ion exchange/osmosis/electrochemical denitrification process to pioneering the use of 3D electrodes in electrochemical reactors, we’re setting new standards. Our efforts extend to integrating photovoltaic systems for energy-efficient operations and striving for zero liquid discharge by repurposing waste

WP 3

Elektra is pushing the boundaries of water purification by demonstrating our denitrification technology’s effectiveness on a pilot scale, surpassing previous lab validations. We’re showcasing the potential of in-situ hydrogen generation, storage, and valorization, alongside the prowess of energy hybridization in water treatment.

WP 4

Elektra is not only about technological advancement but also about ensuring our solutions are socially, economically, and environmentally viable. We’re implementing a comprehensive impact monitoring strategy to measure project performance, including its socio-economic and environmental impacts, with active citizen and stakeholder participation. Our goal is to decarbonize our processes, aligning with the Do Not Significant Harm (DNSH) principles, and showcasing exemplary environmental performance in water treatment and energy efficiency.

Elektra is crafting a strategic roadmap to expand our project’s market presence and maximize its impact, focusing on promoting replicability and transferability beyond the LIFE initiative. Our mission is to attract business partners and stakeholders, creating a demand in the market while ensuring our technology’s replicability through validation across various European regions. We’re committed to meticulous IPR management in line with EC guidelines and contributing to European regulations on nitrate management, paving the way for a sustainable future in water treatment technologies.
